<!-- FH = Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark -->Christine Elizabeth Jones, 85, of O'Fallon, Mo., formerly of Chadwick, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010, in the home of her daughter, Cindy. She was born February 1, 1925, the daughter of Shelby and Janey (Tune) Earnhardt. On October 10, 1942 she was united in marriage to Russell Jones, who preceded her in death July 31, 2007. Christine was an excellent homemaker and a talented seamstress. Her quilts were handmade with precise and defined stitches and always assembled to color coordinate. Christine enjoyed being a member of several organizations and was active in the development of Chadwick Community Center. She served as a board member for Christian County Library, OACAC and Christian County Health Department board of directors. She was also a member of the Chadwick Extension service.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Jerry Dale Lee; four brothers; and three sisters.Christine is lovingly survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Lee; two grandsons, Steven Lee and wife Carol, and Curtis Lee, all of O'Fallon; four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brittney, Justin and Joshua Lee.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2010, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home.
