Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Christine C. Taylor, 85, Attalla, who died Monday, July 14, 2008. The Rev. Richard Bradford will officiate. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Copeland; brother, Bill Copeland; and sister, Pauline Conn.She is survived by her husband, Edward O. Taylor, Attalla; children, Grady "Butch" Clough, Attalla, and Marlen (Steve) Barron, Steele; sister, Betty (Herbert) McClendon, Attalla; special friend, Louise Baker; special sister-in-law, Louise Oliver; special nurses, Janice Ellison and Tina Amberson; special caregivers, Teresa, Marlene, Carolyn and Dorothy; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, Ronnie Oliver, Arlin Taylor, James Casey, Jack Gilliland and Phil McClendon. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Debora Reiland and staff, Mike McClendon and Ronnie McClendon.Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at Morgan Chapel.
