OBITUARY CHRISTINA ANNE MACLEOD PARKER Born in 1920, in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, died peacefully at home in Knowlton on October 29, 2007, following a difficult challenge with cancer; a great loss to Leonard, her husband of sixty-three years, and their daughter, Sheana (Tom Carter). She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Eleanor and Jeremy, their father Andrew Louson (Linda Martin), and family and friends in Canada, Scotland and England. Chris had a long career in nursing, eventually becoming assistant matron of the South Manchester University Hospital. A productive life, lived with courage, wisdom, charm and grace. Any donations to the superb Palliative Care Services, CLSC La Pommeraie, 112 Rue du Sud, Cowansville, Qc. J2K 2X2 would be greatly appreciated by the family. We are grateful also to Dr. Dominique Desy, for her loving care. A Private memorial will be held later. Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. W.B. Yeats
