ENGEL, Christiane It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christiane Engel on the morning of October 24, 2012. She is survived by her dear and loving husband Gunter Jim Klein, her beloved and loving daughter Annouchka Engel-Vaillancourt (David Klug), her mother Edith Engel, her sister Lucy (Charles Berthoud), her brothers Marc and Francis (Diane Francoeur), as well as the Klein family, her cherished nieces and nephews and the Vaillancourt family. She will be sorely missed by her devoted friends who remained by her side until the very end. A special thought goes out to her colleagues at College Edouard- Montpetit CEGEP. Her family extends a special thanks to the wonderful medical team at the Jewish General Hospital of Montreal. The funeral will be held on Saturday November 3rd, 2012 between 2 pm and 5 pm at Memoria (1115 Laurier West in Outremont). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Dr. Walter Gotlieb's Ovarian Research Fund in memory of Christiane Engel.
