Christian "Bubba" Tyler Smith December 28, 2002 - May 16, 2004 SMITH, Christian Tyler "Bubba" - 16 and a half months, passed away snuggling his mama and dada on May 16, 2004, in IWK Health Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Lee Smith and Amy LaPlante. Surviving are his nana and grandad, Anita and Greg LaPlante, Prospect Bay; nan, Cathy Smith, Beechville; grandad, Henry Loppie, Halifax; puppy, Leo Sheppard, Beechville; great-grandparents, nanny Barbara, Beechville; gramps "Wilf" and nannie Norma, Dartmouth; great-grandma, Leola LaPlante, Sussex, N.B. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Basilica, Father John Williams officiating.
