SMITH, CHESTER T., 83, passed away on November 3, 2012. He was a retired employee of Ky. Metals, Inc., and a member of the Teamsters Local 89 and Shively Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Smith; and his son, Michael T. Smith. Survivors include his grandchildren, April Bennett (Eddie), Tonya Hillerich (Joe) and Bobby Weis; great-grandchildren, Caiti, McKinsi, Cassidy, Kyle, Maddie, Liam and Kevin; his brother, Raymond Smith (Marilyn); sister, Vera Casey (Ray); and his daughter-in-law, Peggy Smith Weis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
