Chet was a retired NADEP aircraft mechanic. He is survived by his children, Miranda, Jarod and Karianne; his parents, Jake & Voncile Smith; his siblings, Jon, Jake and Vivian Smith; grandchildren and other family members. Visitation is on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 1, 2013 with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
