Chester Lee Jones, 78, of Brooks, died Sunday at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a retired machinery operator for the Bullitt County Road Department. He is survived by a son, Jerry Jones; a daughter, Mildred Fenwick; four sisters, Gladys Wells, Esther Burgess, Gertrude Lester and Loretta Dillander; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with interment in the Jones Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
