HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Miss Cheryl Laverne Williams of Woodcock Drive, Quail Hollow, entered into rest Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Servants of God Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Covenant Baptist Church, Hephzibah. Miss Williams, a native of Augusta, was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and had attended Clark Atlanta University. She was retired from Savannah River Site. She was a memer of Servants of God Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, Trustee Ministry, AWANA (Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed) and was organizer of the Evergreen Book Club. Survivors are her mother, Dorothy L. Williams, Augusta; brother, Evangelist Gerald T. (Claudia) Williams, Augusta; one niece, Robyn Williams, Atlanta; one nephew, Brian Williams, Augusta; great nephew, Kameron Jones and Louise Cargel, Southfield, Mich. and other rel atives.
