Cheryl Eileen Murphy, Elkland, Mo., daughter of Arthur Alfred and Wanda Leola (Hardison) Anderson, was born July 30, 1947, in Clinton, Iowa, and departed this life November 12, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., in her home. At the time of her passing she was 61 years of age. Cheryl was a homemaker and a member of Peace Chapel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; one son, Robert Murphy, Elkland, Mo.; one daughter, Lynette Kittleman, Elkland, Mo.; her parents, Arthur and Wanda Anderson, Sedgewick, Colo.; two grandsons, Nathan and Nicholas Kittleman, Springfield, Mo.; four sisters, Loraine and Joe Keller, Connie and Jim Gangwish, Artie and John Johnson, and Teresa and Leonard Mares; one brother, Arthur Alfred Anderson II and Tammi, all from the state of Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services for Cheryl Eileen Murphy will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008, in Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Mo., with Rev. Michael Shields officiating. Burial will be in Timber Ridge Cemetery, Elkland, Mo. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2008, in the funeral home chapel.
