WHITE, Charlton Bill - Passed away suddenly on August 1, 2012 at the age of 58. Beloved son, brother, husband, friend. Born in Bozeman, Montana, Bill lived with his family in Belfast, then Oxford, UK, before settling in Toronto in 1965. Bill attended George Vanier Secondary School, completed a BA at Richmond College, then went on to George Brown College for a carpenter certification. With his carpentry skills and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, he moved to Vancouver to form a successful insulation business in the 1980's. Bill later moved to Thailand where he met his wife Nok. After returning to Toronto in the 1990's he worked in the home renovation business. Bill was a voracious reader, enjoyed sports and was widely loved for his generous spirit, wit, wonderful sense of humour and his optimistic outlook on life. Bill will be greatly missed by his father John Wesley White, ex-wife Nok, brothers Paul and Randy, sisters-in-law Paula and Lorraine, nephews William, Isidore, Finnan, Braeden and niece Sara. Bill was predeceased by his loving mother Kathleen in 2011 and brother Wesley in 1991. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11th at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario, 905-305-8508.
