Charlotte (McDougall) Williams, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, passed away Friday afternoon, January 18, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Edward G. Williams of Georgetown. She was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Conley) McDougall. Charlotte graduated from Perley High School. During WWII she worked as an inspector at Sylvania. She was employed as a secretary for Williams Oil Service in Georgetown for many years. Charlotte was at heart a homemaker, devoted mother and wife. In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by their children, a son Gerald E. and his wife Mary Williams of Georgetown, two daughters, Lynne Cramer of Georgetown, and Cynthia and her husband Paul Tinsley of East Bridgewater. She also leaves her sister-in-law Marion L. Roberts of Rowley and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Althea Sibley of Bradford, Wilheminia Marble of Georgetown and Mildred Shanahan of Essex, NH. Services will be private at the request of the family.
