JACKSON, Charletta J.Charletta J. Jackson, 86, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the her daughter's home in Port St. Lucie with her loving family by her side. Born in Hudson, IN, she spent the past 24 years in Port St. Lucie. In prior years she lived in West Palm Beach, FL when first coming from Indiana. Before retiring she was proof reader for the Palm Beach Post for over 25 years. She was a member of the Genesis Church in Port St Lucie. Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie Jo Lang and her husband Neal of Ocala, FL, Connie Lou Proxmire and her husband John of Port St. Lucie; a son Arthur B. Jackson and his wife Kelly of North Palm Beach, FL; her brother, Larry Rowe and his wife Toni of Florida; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell B. Jackson in 2001, her daughter Mona L. Jackson; a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Lang; a grandson, Trey Jackson and sisters, Ruth Eelman and Wava White. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on October 18, 2014 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a funeral service at 1:00PM followed by entombment in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
