Watts, Mr. Charles Wayne, age 69, a resident of Millbrook, AL went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 6, 2013. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, 11 AM from Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.John Varner and Rev. Ken Warren officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens with full military honors. He attended Talladega High School and after graduation was called to duty by the United States Air Force. Wayne was assigned to the Strategic Air Command in Orlando, FL before being deployed to Vietnam in 1966, where he served with the Combat Air Forces in Southeast Asia and Pacific. His family moved to Millbrook, AL in 1977, where he resided until his death. Wayne was a member of The Mercy Seat Church of God in Prattville, AL. He was recognized by his friends as an active member of the community and a "Truly Good Man." He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda L. Watts of Millbrook, AL; sons, Drew (Leslie) Watts of Monroeville, AL; Chris (Brandy) Watts of El Paso, TX; Marc (Wendy) Watts of Millbrook AL; twelve grandchildren and many friends.
