HARE, Charles Victor The family of Charles Victor Hare wish to announce his sudden passing on October 12, 2007 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Irene Mary Lacelle; his sons Michael James Hare (wife Lorraine) of Cobble Hill, BC, Norman Joseph Hare (wife Christine) of Guelph, ON, Patrick John Hare of Victoria, BC; his only daughter, Marie-Kathryn Rupert (companion Marc Aquin) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren Steven Arthur Rupert and Samantha Marie Rupert, both of Calgary, AB; and his stepsister, Teresa Gowett of Toronto, ON. He is predeceased by his mother Rita Gowett, and his siblings Peter, Lynn and Barry, formerly of Little Current, ON. Charles was born on September 6, 1933 in Little Current, ON. He enjoyed many years in Sudbury and Espanola, ON raising his family and sharing laughs with friends. He and his wife moved to High River, AB in 1993 to be closer to their grandchildren. Charles was a very generous and compassionate man who also leaves behind three World Vision sponsored children. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales (206 - 9 Avenue West, High River, AB) on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. At his request, Charles' cremated remains will be spread over beautiful Lake Huron, ON at a later date.
