<!-- FH = Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home -->Charles Hare, of Palm Bay, passed away at the William Childs Hospice House on April 28, 2012. Chuck was born June 24, 1929, in Springfield, MA, to Charles H. and Agnes Mitchell Hare. He married Mary T. Krumsiek in June of 1953. The Hares raised five sons and nineteen foster children. Mr. Hare served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic. He moved his family to Ft. Lauderdale in the 1960s and worked as a master mechanic and industrial fabricator. Before long, he started his own business designing and building custom limousines. In spite of his professional success, Charles was more focused on who he was than what he did for a living. He applied his Christian values to everyday life and always reached out to those in need. Those who knew Chuck will remember his quick-witted humor and adventure-packed stories.Charles was predeceased by his parents and sister, Shirley. Left to mourn his loss is his beloved wife, Mary Therese; their sons, Timothy (Julianne), Thomas (Carrie), Terrance (Susan), Todd (Jayne), and Ty (Susan); his sister, Jessie Yerrid (Ronnie); and long-time family friend, Veronica 'Bonnie' Francis. Chuck also left ten grandchildren, Teresa Berry, Thomas Hare (Megan), Jennifer Mason (Jon), Kimberly Mansingh, Stacey, Greg, Ryan, Kelly, Cameron, and Amy Hare. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William Childs Hospice House, St. Joseph's Catholic Community, both in Palm Bay, FL, or the Parkinson's Foundation. Friends and loved ones are invited to a funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church, 5310 Babcock NE, scheduled for 1 PM on Saturday, May 12 and/or a Celebration of Life gathering afterward, from 2 PM to 4 PM, at the Palm Bay Estates Clubhouse at 3092 Indian River, Palm Bay.
