Charles Stephen "Steve" Smith of Oliver Springs died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 after a long battle with leukemia. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Frank Smith.Survivors include his mother, Nancy Harvey Smith, Oliver Springs; his wife, Theresa "Teri", Oliver Springs; and two sons, Charles Jamie Smith, Johnson City, and Christopher J. Smith, Hermitage.The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in Oliver Springs First Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow, with Pastor Waylon Payne officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Sharp Funeral Home, Oliver Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
