-> Jesup - Charles Robert Wall, 80, died Friday, June 6, 2003. The Jacksonville, Florida, native had lived in Port St. Joe, Fla., for 56 years. He was a master mechanic of the Apalachiocola Northern Railroad for 25 years. He was an active contributor to the community and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Survivors: wife of 57 years, Mary Harvey Wall of Port St. Joe, Fla.; three children and spouses, Charles Daniel Wall and wife Pam of Tallahasse, Fla., Brenda Wall Purvis and husband Mike of Jesup, and Bill Wall and wife Rosmari of Columbus; five sisters, Dorothy Wall and Mildred Wall, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Monnie Odom of Gardi, Bertha Harvey and Ruth Harvey, both of Screven; five grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
