Funeral for Charles Robert Johnson, 78, of Decatur will be Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Fu-neral Home with the Rev. James Cotton officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Ceme-tery. Visitation will be onehour prior to the service. Mr. Johnson, who died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Sunbridge Care Facility, was born July 1, 1928, in Huntsville to James Robert Johnson and Josephine Smelser Johnson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Ma-son. He was the manager of Winn-Dixie for 40 years. Survivors include one son, Bobby Johnson and hiswife, Marilyn, of Decatur;three granddaughters, Robyn Johnson of Tuscaloosa, Wendy Johnson of Warner Robins, Ga., and Tracy Holwell and her husband, Bryan, of Sugar Hill, Ga.; one sister, Betty Behm and her husband, Ed, of Decatur; sisters-in-law, Lois Perkins and Waits Johnson, both of Huntsville; six nephews; one niece; and several greatnephews and great-nieces. Pallbearers will be Tommy Behm, Eddie Behm, Kenneth Hardin, Johnny Johnson, Randy Perkins and Dolton Steele. Memorials may be made to Austinville United Method-ist Church.
