Charles R. Anderson, 71, died Feb. 26, 2013, at Martin Medical Center, Stuart. He was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Stuart, coming from Freehold, N.J. He was a veteran of the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired HVAC mechanic for Stop and Shop and the Local Union No. 9 in Tinton Falls, N.J. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a member of the Martin County Golf Club. Survivors include his son, Robert C. Anderson of Norfolk, Va.; brother, Richard R. Anderson of Melbourne; sister, Barbara M. Hadden of Stuart; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy A. Anderson. Services: A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. March 5 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
