WHITTAKER Charles R Whittaker, 86, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Bacon Whittaker, son Mike (Ping) Whittaker, daughter Rose (Dan) Lawson and grandsons, Daniel (Carson Lee) Lawson and Brandon Lawson. Sisters; Enzena Davis, Juanita Grove, Mary Russell, Dorothy Keathley, Georgia Whittaker, Myrna Duncan, Gloria Jean Hitchcock and brother Jim D. Whittaker. He was predeceased by his wife Inez Hurt Whittaker. The funeral service will take place at Hardage Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 12:00pm. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will take place at 1:30pm at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32073.
