Mr. Charles "CB" Peterson, 88, of Ebro, Fla., passed away Monday, July 14, 2008, at Panama City Nursing Center in Panama City, Fla. He was a native of Ebro, Fla., and a member of the Church of Christ in Ebro, Fla. He was a longtime employee of Gaddlyn Lumber Co. in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and a World War I veteran. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the Church of Christ in Ebro with Pastor Eli Andrews officiating. The remains will lie in repose one hour before services at the church. Interment will follow in St. Luke Memorial Garden Cemetery in Vernon, Fla., with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, Fla., directing. Survivors include seven children, Clifford Peterson, Cozetta Brown (Rudolph), Sandra Brown, all of Ebro, Fla., Willie Peterson, Cleedie Mae Causey, Barbara Williams (Terry) and Stephenie Preyer, all of Panama City, Fla.; three sisters, Madie Brown, Lula Douglas of Ebro, Fla., and Irene Johnson of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
