He was a Navigator and flew off the Independence and the Saratoga with the Knight Hawks Early Warning Squadron. Survived by wife, Chloe Margaret Fisher Johnson; daughter, Phoebe Elizabeth Duren; son, Gregory Fisher Johnson; grandsons, Christopher Lee Johnson and Austin Fisher Johnson; granddaughter, Tandy Elizabeth Olmstead; great granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Olmstead; brother, Dr. F.E.A Johnson. Preceded in death by parents, F.E. and Corrine Sutton Johnson; granddaughter, Ashley Marie Johnson.
