Charles S. Lucas died April 19, 2008, at Green Gables Assisted Living Facility in Vero Beach. He was born in Mount Carmel, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach since 2003, coming from Philadelphia. Before retirement, he was an industrial relations specialist with the Wellsbach Co. He served in the Marines as a first lieutenant during World War II. He graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lucas of Vero Beach; and son, Craig Lucas of New York City. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. April 23 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with Pastor Ken Jones of VNA Hospice officiating. 
