Charles Leon Griner - SAVANNAH - Charles Leon Griner, 75, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. He was a native of Glynn County, GA and lived in Savannah, GA most of his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from Colonial Oil Co., and worked with the City of Savannah as a bus driver for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by one daughter, Angela Sullenger of Savannah, GA; one son, Danny Griner of Savannah, GA; one step-son, Bruce Jacobs of Tennessee; two sisters, Martha Allen of Savannah, GA, and Helen White of Plant City, GA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
