LEE Charles “ Truby” Lee, 80 passed away Thursday February 27, 2003 following a short illness. The OBrien, Florida native was born June 4, 1922 and lived his life in the O Brien Community. Mr. Lee served in the U.S. Coast Guard During W.W. II., he was employed with the State of Florida for 46 years with the The Florida Game Commission as a game supervisor. A member of Union Baptist Church, OBrien, FL,. He is survived by his wife, Mary Herring Lee of OBrien, FL., two daughters, Linda Lee Wilkinson Turner of OBrien, FL., Laura Lee Land of Hatch Bend, FL., two sisters, Juanita Daughtry of Gainesville, FL., Leatha Smith of Orlando, FL., on brother, Melvin Lee of Branford, FL., four grandchildren, Carrie Lee Thomas, Bill Wilkinson, Jr., Ray Land and Bryan Turner. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 3, 2003 at 2:00 PM in Union Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Sumner officiating. Interment will follow in OBrien Cemetery.
