Charles "Chuck" Lee Valparaiso, IN Charles "Chuck" Lee, 64, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his home. He was born on November 20, 1942 in Marion, OH to the late, Charles F. and Mary Alice (Baker) Lee. Charles was married to Dawn Johns, who survives of Valparaiso, IN. Chuck is also survived by his sons: Anthony Lee of Valparaiso, IN, James "Jim" (Samantha) Lee of Charleston, SC, Steve (Michelle) Lee of Mansfield, OH; daughters: Cristina Lee of Valparaiso, IN, Dawn (Doug) Iles of Mansfield, OH; sister, Carol Mann of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren: Julie, Adam, Aaron, Amber and James Lee, Matt, Brittany and Christopher Iles, and Skyler, Hannah and Spencer Lee. Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Phil Lee. Chuck was a member of the VFW and American Legion in South Haven, IN. He enjoyed karaoke, Nascar, gardening, golf, White Sox games and Ohio State. He worked for Qwest Commuications where he worked as a Fiber Optic Technician in Field Operations in downtown Chicago. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave, Portage, IN with Pastor Dennis Ticen officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. www.funeral1.com
