LEE Charles Joseph passed away peace- fully March 13, 2003 at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Born on October 18, 1913 in Regina, Saskatchewan "Chuck" is survived byElsie his loving wife of 63 years, sons Barry (Dale) and Brian (Joan). He alsoleaves his special grandchildren, Deanna, Travis (Jen), Miles and great-grandaughter, Isabella. Chuck was anArmy veteran and a long time employee of the Standard Furniture Companyfor 39 years. He was avid sports fan, whoenjoyed hockey, bowling and coachedLittle League Baseball in the 1950's. He was a devoted family man and was always "there" for us. Following his retirement Chuck and Elsie found time to travel and healwayslooked forward to the many visits and special occasionswith his grandchildren. The familywould like toextend their thanks and gratitude tothe Nurses and staff at the SaanichPeninsula Hospital ECU1. At Chuck's request a private family remembrance service will be held.
