JORDAN, Charles L. 73, of Galeton, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. Born December 8, 1934 in Port Allegany, he was the son of Elsie (Jerles) Wilson and the late Walter Jordan. He was a graduate of Galeton High School. Mr. Jordan was retired. He was a member of the Galeton Loyal Order of the Moose #826 and the Galeton VFW, Post 5956. Charlie was an avid fisherman and greatly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Surviving are: his wife, Betty (Harris) Zinn-Jordan; his mother; a son, Jon (Irene) Jordan of Rochester; daughters, Laurie (Burley) Chillcott of Webster, NY, Margaret Jordan of Rochester, NY, Heather Durant and Heidi Tellez, both of Portland, OR; a stepdaughter and granddaughter, Amy and Hannah Rose Zinn of Galeton; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Charles Jordan in 2006. Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton, PA, on Friday, December 28, 2007, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the West Pike Baptist Church on Saturday, December 29, 2007, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. John Prouty will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Cole Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.
