Charles was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 6, 1925. A veteran of WW II he served as a Seebee in the Unites States Navy. Charles married Barbara in 1946 and had three daughters. They moved from Michigan to North Fort Myers in 1968. Charles was a plasterer and took great pride in his work. A man of great moral character, he was devoted to Barbara, helping her with her illness until his death and loved his three daughters and grandchildren deeply. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Frank Oscar Johnson, his mother, Ethel Marie Johnson, his brothers, Frank and Lowell Johnson and daughter, Linda Smith. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara Johnson; brother, Lyle Johnson; daughters: Lorin Nash and Lee Ann Frost and grandchildren: Laura Smith Nichols, Aaron Smith, Michelle Nash and Tess Frost.
