AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Charles Henry Montgomery, beloved husband of Mrs. Doris L. Montgomery, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. John F. Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Montgomery was a 20 year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was past District Governor of Lions Club International #4-L1, and attended the First Assembly of God. In addition to his wife, Doris, he is survived by his son, Charles Michael Montgomery; a daughter, Julie Ann Montgomery and her husband, Michael L. Panganiban; three brothers, Billy G. Montgomery, Richard A. Montgomery, and Robert Montgomery; and a sister, Judy Matthews. If so desired, memorials may be made to the City of Hope Cancer Research Center, 1500 E.
