MICHAEL, Charles Henry III "Skip" Mr. Skip Michael passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2008, in St. Josephs Hospital located in Atlanta, GA, following an extended illness; he was 64 years of age. He was born on Dec. 1, 1943, in Tularosa, NM as one of 4 children born to Charles Henry Michael Jr. and Evelyn Brasher Michael. A long time Florida resident, he attended Northeast High school and co-founded Pinellas Electric Service. Mr. Michael retired as a Lieutenant in the Pinellas Park Fire Dept. after 25 years of service with them, and 32 years total in the fire service. His hobbies included golf, jewelry making, and carpentry. Skip treasured his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers John and Edward Michael. Surviving him are his wife Barbara Felzer Michael; 3 sons Charles Henry IV "Chip", Mark, Lance Michael, and his sister Michelle Dehart. Also surviving him are 3 stepchildren John Haffner, Jackie Twitty, and Gina Scarpetta; as well as his 8 grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held by Pinellas Park Fire Department at Freedom Lake Park located at 9990 46th Street North Pinellas Park, FL on Wednesday July 2, 2008, at 9am.
