MITCHELL, CHARLES H.Charles Henry Mitchell, age 78 of Starke, passed away on Sept. 9, 2009 in Windsor Manor. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Green Thumb Inc. and Sunshine Industries. He was of the Methodist Faith and Graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. He leaves to cherish fond memories: one son, Harold Mitchell Sr. (Joyce) of Starke, FL; one daughter, Lucille Collier (Wendell) of Apopka, FL; 2 brothers, Simon H. Mitchell Jr. (Mamie) and Clarence L. Mitchell, all of Starke, FL; 4 sisters, Nancy L. Mitchell and Claranell Mitchell Hudson (Clifford), of Starke, FL, Carabell Mitchell Johnson (Philip) of Bristow, VA and Vicki Foster of Camden, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grand children, and a host of other relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell will be held 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Mt. Pisgah A,M,E, Church, Steel Mill Rd, Starke, FL, with Rev. Gary Slaughter officiating and Rev. J.W. Warren eulogist. Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery, Starke, FL. Viewing hours on Friday at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E.
