He retired from the City of Tallahassee in February 2004 after 30 years of dedicated service.Charles was a member of Central Baptist Church and active member of the Florida State Dog Hunters Association and enjoyed hunting and was an avid NASCAR and FSU fan.Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, just south of the courthouse on Highway 319 in Crawfordville, FL.Funeral services will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m EST at Central Baptist Church, Highway 61, Crawfordville, FL. Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements.He is survived by his best friend and wife, Debbie Goodwin, his children, Charlie Goodwin and grandsons Cameron and Carson Goodwin; Amanda Fultineer (Rod) and grandchildren, Taylor Fultineer, David W. Porter and Cheyenne Porter; Justin Carter (Jennifer).He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Goodwin, his parents and both siblings.
