Charles F. Flanagan, 87, Sarasota, died Sept. 16, 2003. He was born March 25, 1916, in Ambler, Pa., and came to Sarasota in 1985 from Texas. He retired as plant manager for John Mansville Co. in Waco, Texas. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Forest Lakes Golf Club and the Church of the Redeemer. Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Girgen of Sarasota; a son, Jack of Bradenton; sisters Betty Hubler of Flowertown, Pa., and Mabel Kumm of Hatboro, Pa.; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 26 at Church of the Redeemer. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
