LEXINGTON - Anderson, Charles F., 61, of Lexington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1950 in Madison, the son of James and Elva Denning Anderson. He was a retired foreman for Rotary Lift and U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Madison V.F.W. and American Legion, a former volunteer coach for the Johnson and Vienna-Finley Elementary basketball program, enjoyed watching UK Basketball, going to Las Vegas and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kimberly Jo Phillips, grandchild, Alexis "Lexy" Jo Anderson, brothers, Don and Ralph Anderson, sister Della "Ann" Creech, sister-in-law Janet Anderson and brother-in-laws, Marvin "Tater" Lamaster and Ed Creech. Survivors include his wife, whom he married on May 26, 1979, Susan Sommer Anderson; daughters, Shari Little, Lexington and Stacy Payne (Ryan), Austin, IN; son, Tim Anderson(Melinda) Austin, IN; sisters, Dorothy Baker (Fred) Scottsburg and Pat Lamaster, Madison; brother, Ray Anderson(Violet), Hanover; grandchildren, Tim Hunt, Ashley Little, Brooklynn and Bradley Phillips and Lia Payne; great-grandchild, Aiden Hunt; son-in-law, Ronnie Phillips, Hanover. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Grayson Funeral Home, Hanover with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery.
