Memorial service for Charles Eugene “Gene” Watts, 64, of Falkville will be today, Feb. 12, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be today from noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Watts died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Morgan County to Jim Watts and Olmer Handley Watts. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Watts; one son, Derek Watts of Decatur; four daughters, Kathy Sevigny of Cullman, Jennifer Grindle of Georgia, and Dana Blankenship and Christie Watts, both of Decatur; two brothers, James Watts of Falkville and Jim Watts of Hartselle; two sisters, Shirley Hutchins of Georgia and Cathy Dean of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 Chase Park South, Suite 220, Birmingham, AL 35244.
