Burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Henley, a retired army sergeant, member of the VFW and deputy sheriff of Gibson County, passed away on Tuesday morning at Humboldt General Hospital. He was preceded in death by sister, Frances Boyers; brother, Don Henley.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Henley of Humboldt; daughter, Erin German of Georgia; sons, John Hammond Henley of Gibson and David Delapaz of Memphis; brother, David Henley of Humboldt; five grandchildren.Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home, 731-784-1414
