Charles Edward "Bones" Davis, 73, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. Bones was a native and life-long resident of Bay county, and retired from Gulf Asphalt as a driver after 30 years of service. He was a member of Fountain Pentecostal Ministries, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Davis, and his brother John.Survivors include his children, Gary Lear of Youngstown, Deanna Murphy of Youngstown, Mike Lear of the Sand Hills, Susie Lear of Panama City and Carla Nelson of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Dwayne, Latisha and Felicia Murphy, Draper and April Lear, Josh, Mikie and Richard Lear, Thomas and Jennifer Boyette, Edward and Tasha Hansen and Ashley Chapman, and Krystal and Lonnie Pitts; and numerous great-grandchildren.A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terrell Nelson officiating.
