CHARLES E. McLELLAN "CHUCKLES" PORTAGE, IN Charles E. McLellan, age 61, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his childhood residence in Portage. He was a retired forklift operator at Pre-coat Metal in Portage. Chuck will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and a special brother to his friends. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, loved hunting, fishing, and partying……. "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day." Chuck is survived by his sister, Sandy (Ron) Tucker of Valparaiso; nephew, Jack (Kim) Bonick; nieces: Michelle Sakes and Chrissie Bonick; numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great niece and nephew; special friends: Grace Bullard, Fred, Rachael and Devin Oestreich, Moe (Paula) Lewis, the whole Reedy family, Chuck (Joyce) Connaway, Rex and Barry, Brenda Mason, Larry Henderson, John (Molly) Long, and so many more. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles W. and Isabel D. (nee Crocker) McLellan; and sister, Bonnie Gagna.
