Anderson, 79, of Candor, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006.Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his wife, Arlene "Chick" Anderson; son, Timothy; sisters, Mary Galpin and Bernice White. He is survived by his son, Terry Anderson, Candor; four grandchildren, Tracy and Richard Pond, T.J. and Erica Anderson, Sheanna Anderson, Tonya Anderson; four great-grandchildren, Kasi and Kelsey Pond, Dakota and Dillan Anderson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Marg Anderson, Candor, Bud Anderson and his friend, Grace, Florida, LeRoy and Jenny Anderson, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special friend, Dorothy Schooley and her family.Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from I.B.M., Owego after 25 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Candor American Legion Post #907 and was an avid golfer.Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, with the Rev. Philip Jordan. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
