TUSCALOOSA Charles Dennis Mitchell, age 84, of Tuscaloosa, died June 29, 2006 at DCH-Tuscaloosa. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Nixon and Bro. James Mathies officiating. Entombment will follow in Serenity Chapel Mausoleum with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Martha M. Mitchell, and son, Ricky Mitchell (Emily) of Morris, Ala.Charles was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish rite. He was a member of Northport Baptist Church and a retired employee of BF Goodrich with 33 years of service.Pallbearers will be Jim Reynolds, Bryant McGee, Wayne Wakefield, Lige Moore, A.C. Powell, Linny Fulmer, Ciff Newton and Tony Richter.Honorary pallbearers are Fellowship Sunday School Class and Northport Baptist Church.
