Decatur<!-- Charles David Parker -->Funeral for Charles David Parker, 57, of Decatur was Sunday, December 27, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Moore and Tommy Smothers officiating. Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.Mr. Parker, who died Friday, December 25, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital, was born August 16, 1952, in Lawrence County to W.J. Parker and Doris Cheatham Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda Parker; one son, Chris Parker; two daughters, Shannon Blankenship and Kelsie Parker; his stepmother, Helen Parker; one brother, Larry Parker; one sister, Linda Lackey; and six grandchildren, Bailey Blankenship, Geno Blankenship, Makenzie Parker, Daisy Parker, Madison Miller and Luke Miller. Pallbearers were Johnny Millsap, Gary Coffey, Darren Parker, David Parker, Dusty Cheatham and Shane Cheatham.
