DAVIS Charles (Chic) Dawson Davis of Vernon passed away peacefully at his home on August 15th, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Chic is predeceased by his wife Grace in 1995 and his son Richard in 1974. Chic will be sadly missed by his daughter Wendy Davis of Vernon, daughter-in-law, Michelle Grandmaison, granddaughter Lynette Grandmaison both of Vernon, sister-in-law, Elsie Ring of Ontario, Helen Wylie of Victoria and other family members, dear friends Carole Grandmaison of Victoria, Tom Greensill of Vernon and many long time friends. Chic was a long time member of the A.N.A.F #5 and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #25 of Vernon. Chic served many years as a cook in the Military, having served in two wars through his career. Chic's many antics have kept most people on their toes, he loved to tell tales of others to light a fire and cause humorous arguments. His smile and antics lit up everyone around him for many years. Today Chic and long time friend, Jack Brash(deceased) are once again stealing each others hats and eyeing the ladies together. We will miss you dearly Dad.
