BABY, Charles (Chuck/Charlie) Suddenly of injuries sustained in a car accident on July 10, 2005. Beloved husband of Claire for 48 years. Chuck was a wonderful father to his 3 children Michel (wife Kerry), Carole Stavely (husband Rod) and Jehan (wife Andrea). He recently became a grandfather and was adored by granddaughters Arquelle (3) and Sabrina (1). Chuck retired from Atlas Steels in Welland in 1991. He was an avid enthusiast of vintage sports cars and motorcycles and was an accomplished marksman who enjoyed hunting. Known for loving life and telling fun stories. Chuck wanted his life to be celebrated rather than his death mourned. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221), on Friday, July 15, 2005 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville at 11 a.m. A reception to follow.
