LEE, CHARLES ANDREW, December 22, 1920-September 9, 2004. Charles Lee, 83, Windermere passed away Thursday, September 9th. Born in Carrington, ND, Charles moved to Orlando, FL in 1951 to pursue a career in teaching at Orlando High School. Charles was a resident of Windermere for 52 years and was Postmaster of the Windermere Post Office for 23 years. He retired in 1982. He was a member and Deacon of the Windermere Union Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Maureen Martin; daughter, Hilary Lee Heckman, Ocoee; sons, Craig Martin Lee (Maryke Loth) of Windermere, and Brian Charles Lee (Mary Dorsey) of Paeonian Springs, VA; grandsons, Christopher Martin Lee (Dania Manor), Kevin Andrew Lee, and Kyle Brian Lee; granddaughters, Jennifer Henrica Lee and Celia Maureen Lee; great-granddaughter, Allison Grace Lee; sister, Jeanette Lee Holmquist, Benson, MN. He was predeceased by his daughter Pamela Lee Howell. The family is planning a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Windermere Union Church.
