Celia Isabel Anderson, 90, died April 8, 2006. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and was a former resident of Port St. Lucie. Before retirement, she was a secretary at the Episcopal Church Center in New York City. She was past president of the Caribbean American Culture Group of Port St. Lucie. Survivors include her son, Emerson V. Anderson of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Marcia I. Allen of Boca Raton, Angela Stewart of London, Ontario, and June-Marie Haughton-James of Toronto; brothers, Robert Abrahams of Florida and John Abrahams of London, England; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everard V. Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caribbean American Cultural Group, 172 N.E. St. James Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. SERVICES: Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. April 15 at Yates Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie. A service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
