Obituary of Cecile-Ouellette Martin


MARTIN Cecile Ouellette Martin, of Bridgeport, wife of the late Claude Frenchy Martin, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at the Shady Knolls Health Care Center, Seymour. Mrs. Martin was born on January 27, 1925 in Waterville, Maine. She was 80 years old. She was a retired employee for the former Colonia Cologne Co. Orange. She is survived by her six devoted children, John Martin of Bridgeport, Sandra Martin of Bridgeport, Nancy Martin of Seymour, Linda Pereira and her husband, Luis of Naugatuck, William Martin and his wife, Diane, of Palm Bay, Fla., Donald Martin and his wife, Jennifer, of Milford; three grandchildren, Jason Martin of Bridgeport and Mitchell and Holly Martin of Milford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Russell and Doreen Martin. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport and at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Shriners of Milford Burn Victims, 349 Wheelers Farm Road, Milford, CT 06460.
