Cecile Yvonne Martineau February 10th, 1921 January 15th, 2006 Cecile, age 84, passed away peacefully at Porteous Lodge, with her family at her side. She will be loved and remembered by her children, Alphonse (Sheila) Benard; Ray (Lynne) Martineau; Al (Theresa) Martineau; Aline (Frank) Holinski; Lilliane Martineau; Bernadette (Peter) Semchyshen; Therese Wiederspohn; Denise (Bill) Procyshyn; Jackie (Greg) Procyshyn and Lucien Martineau; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great, great grand-daughter; siblings, Therese Buckna; Madeleine (Lucien) Denis; Marie-Louise Dellezay and Raymond Dellezay; sisters-in-law, Malvina Dellezay and Regina Jones; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, inlaws and cousins. Cecile was predeceased by her first husband, Alphonse Benard; second husband, Alonzo Martineau; son, Bernard Martineau; grandson, Dale Benard; great grandson, Andrew Martineau; son-in-law, Dave Wiederspohn; daughter-inlaw, Tara Martineau; brothers, Gaston and Joe; sister, Fernande and brother-in-law, Frank Buckna. Cecile's life has been an example of love, gentleness, kindness, patience, faithfulness and goodness to all who knew her. Vigil for Cecile will be held on Thursday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 20th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Marc Mireau as the celebrant. Both services from St. Phillippe de Neri Roman Catholic Church in Vonda, SK. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Phillippe de Neri Parish Cemetery, Vonda, SK.
