Cecile-G. Gagnon, born in 1915, spouse of Donat Dufour, daughter of Joseph and Marie, mother of Cindy and Donald, died on July 5, 2005 at 90 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
Cecile G. (Gagnon) Dufour, 90, of Plainville, passed away on Tuesday, (June 5, 2005). She was married for 60 years to the late Donat Dufour. Cecile was born on May 7, 1915 in Madawaska, ME one of 13 children to the late Joseph and Marie (Bouchard) Gagnon. Cecile was a long time Plainville resident where she was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Plainville Senior Center. Cecile leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. and Cindy Dufour of Coventry; her brother, Camile Gagnon of Saco, ME; two sisters, Loretta St. Laurent of Glastonbury and Anita Morneault of Dunedin, FL; two grandchildren, Donald E. and Matthew J. Dufour; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St. Plainville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
